Welcome to our seventh Gold Nugget! In this episode, we have Benjamin Jung and Andre Weißbrenner from the executive team of Heck+Becker. Heck+Becker was known as a German tool maker, but with the increased high-quality competition from abroad, they faced bankruptcy. They formed a plan to do something new. They left 90 years of tradition behind and focused on their unique strength, which is HPDC prototyping.
We talked about the development of their company and how they implemented the steps to become successful again. We also talked about how to operate on an open heart, how to form an Olympic team, and the changing of customers with that transition. And of course, we take a look around at our beloved foundry and automotive industry, where we uncover some hidden truths about the European OEMs.
Listen to the Gold Nugget or watch it on YouTube and learn how change is successfully managed and implemented!

This podcast is about how to make money in the foundry industry. Is there any money, or is it just squeezing everyone to save cents? So, we’re not talking about properties, microstructures, atoms, or casting parameters. We want to speak to anyone in the industry.
See you in the comment section, or you'll hear us again on the 8th of December with a new Gold Nugget!
Best regards,
Staffan and Fabian
